According to Mike Cranston, the AP writer in Charlotte, the Bobcats are going to formally announce a contract extension for current interim head coach Paul Silas. If it goes as Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojranowski reported, it will be a one-year extension.

This seems to be in the works, but it looks like Silas is going to remain our coach for the next season (if such a season takes place, lol) Many of us, including myself, wanted this to happen, and it appears that is. Thoughts? Excitement? Concerns? Nonchalance?
