It was ugly, it was bad, it was just not fun.
The Bobcats have now lost nine straight games and like each one before it, tonight was another blowout. Seems it's the same problems, different game. The Bobcats have a good first quarter. The Bobcats can't make adjustments. The Bobcats don't rebound well. The Bobcats don't box out. The Bobcats over-dribble. The Bobcats' shooting gets cold. The Bobcats are gonna Bobcat and the Bobcats are gonna lose.
In the Bobcats' defense, not many good teams keep games close against the Thunder regardless. The Thunder win a lot of games by large margins and this game can, at its most basic, be described as a really good team beat a really bad one. There was nothing special about the game. Nobody on the Thunder went off and, hell, the Bobcats even kept their big men contained for the most part.
I really don't know what else to say about this game. It was actually kind of boring. There were a few moments where the game got fast and the Bobcats actually didn't look too terrible. I guess that was a flash of what they could be but once again in the halfcourt they were supremely outmatched. Just a boring game.
