!!! (Chk Chk Chk) - Must Be The Moon (via WarpRecords)
This is a battle of two teams on seven-game streaks: the Celtics winning, and the Bobcats losing.
What's most impressive is that Boston has gone on this run since the absence of Rajon Rondo. The way Kevin Garnett explained this unusual occurrence with a fantastic cooking analogy about how you learn to start cooking for yourself when your chef is out. Or something.
Whatever the reason, the Celtics are not to be taken lightly. They've been defending well and scoring fairly efficiently. Paul Pierce has been particularly terrific, averaging 19 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists during this winning streak. Garnett has also been playing well with 18 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 3 apg, 1.7 spg and 1.3 bpg during this run. Jeff Green and Jason Terry have also been a great sparks for Boston off the bench.
They're focused, extremely skilled and well-coached. There is a glimmer of hope, though. The Celtics's best players are still running on heavy mileage and last night night's triple-overtime game coupled with a late flight could tire the Celtics. I would think 54 and 47 minutes for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, respectively, are no longer speed bumps for their bodies.
Yet still, I am afraid.
