Acquiring Rondo: Good idea or bad idea?

Reading lots of articles about Rondo being shopped to New York and even Houston.

Was thinking about Bobcats chances of landing Rondo or even if this is a good idea...

If Cho offered Kemba back, Boston would get a younger, cheaper scoring guard. I love Kemba, but he is more of a 6th man to me. Rondo is a pass first, true point guard.

Boston gets a good cheap contract with a team option of 3.2 mil for 14-15. Cats could offer the Detroit or Portland owed 1st rounder as compensation along with Walker. I think Walker and 1st rounder for Rondo is very fair.

Rondo is an All Star, better passer, leader, defender. Still only 27. He is only owed 11 and 12 mil over the next two seasons. With Gordon and Sessions coming off the books...Charlotte still has cap room. Pair him with developing athletic and offensive threats like MKG, Zeller, Biyombo, Taylor. I like that future. Also has worked with Mark Price before on shooting form. This would allow Rondo to be the face of a rebuilding Charlotte team. Charlotte would still have two potential 1st round picks in a loaded 2014 draft and a new All Star point guard to captain the ship...
