Streeter Lecka
We knew Michael Kidd-Gilchrist would be back after his eye problem, but lo and behold another Bobcats player has returned from injury!
Yes, making a surprising return from a calf injury sustained mid-November in which he tore his plantaris muscle, Tyrus Thomas is back in the game for the Charlotte Bobcats. There hadn't been much news on his return, and it had seemed Thomas wouldn't be back for a while. Early estimates had pinned his return at two months or more.
So far, Thomas is 2-3 in the first quarter for 4 points with a hilarious missed jumper where he attempted to draw a foul with contact and instead heaved an airball with zero arc. He's back, baby!
