His best days may be behind him, but Antawn Jamison is still an effective NBA player even in the back-end of his career. Mandatory Credit: Anthony Gruppuso-US PRESSWIRE
In a move that should surprise no-one, Cleveland Cavaliers forward Antawn Jamison is scheduled to be in Charlotte on Friday and Saturday to meet with the Bobcats, this from Marc Spears:

@SpearsNBAYahooFree agent Antawn Jamison, an ex-North Carolina star, will be visiting the very interested Charlotte Bobcats on Thur and Fri,source tells Y!
It takes a special kind of person (read: sadomasochistic) to be in the twilight of their career, still be an effective NBA player, and yet be willing to come to the Charlotte Bobcats during a rebuilding effort. Howeever, Jamison has publically said he'd like to play for the Bobcats, and it appears there's mutual interest in the former UNC star.
At this stage you know what you're getting from Jamison. He'll give for 15-20 points a night, and get you anywhere from 5-8 rebounds. He never was a gifted defender, but he's no slouch-- and putting him in the lineup would create a nice balance with the lack of offense Bismack Biyombo and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will offer in 2012.
Jamison is interested, Spears says the Bobcats are 'very interested'. We might as well schedule the Monday press conference already.
