Current Bobcat's 2012-2013 Salaries
The Bobcats are currently sitting with 13 players having officially signed and one contract, Derek Brown's, waiting to be matched. Without the terms of Jeffrey Taylor's deal disclosed, we are currently on the hook for 51,667,467, leaving us with about 6,376,533, of which Taylor's contract has to be included. Given that MKG made considerably more than his rookie scale contract, I would assume that Taylor is going to make more than 1,000,000, as opposed to his 750,000 rookie scale contract would suggest. So, in short, we have about 5,000,000 to spend, some of which is tied up in a cap hold on Derek Brown's qualifying offer (about 2,000,000). That leaves us about 3,000,000 to be able to sign someone a 15th player.
