Today's Tunes:
Shearwater - You as You Were (not the video) (via subpoprecords)
Game Overview: The Jazz are quietly playing pretty well over there on the other side of the country in that boxy state. You know, Utah. Their main strength comes from in the paint with the duo of Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap. Their frontcourt bench is pretty strong and young with Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter. Their backcourt is far from as effective: Raja Bell, Devin Harris, Jamaal Tinsely Earl Watson, oof. Gordon Hayward is coming along nicely and had 23 points the other night at least. But really the concern has to be the frontcourt. Jefferson and Millsap are very good offensive players with post moves for days. Biyombo played well against Dwight Howard and the Magic last night, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least to see him fooled by Utah's frontcourt versatility.
Key Matchup: Bismack Biyombo vs. Al Jefferson -- see above. Biyombo will need to hold Jefferson in check and continue to play great help defense, which is a lot to ask of such a young player.
Devin Harris, doin' his thang
