In layman's terms, an eye contusion is a bruise around the eye, aka a black eye. Thank goodness the injury isn't as scary as the medical name would suggest.
Before this, Kidd-Gilchrist was having a career night with 18 points in the first half on 11 FGA and with 7 rebounds.
