Halftime: Bobcats trail 49-44 to Clippers

The Bobcats trail in most of the statistical categories, but are fighting mightily to keep themselves within reach of the visiting Clippers.

Los Angeles is using ball movement more, assisting on two thirds of their made field goals, to the Bobcats' 56 percent. They also have doubled up the Bobcats on the offensive boards, leading to more second-chance points and a disparity in shots between the two teams. The Bobcats are getting the free throw line more, which is the main thing that's keeping them in it. Another thing I'd like to see the Bobcats improve is get back in transition. The Clippers have capitalized on this with lobs and early entry passes.

However, Kemba Walker has been a force for Charlotte thus far, with 12 points on 7 field goals with three assists. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist has done well also, showcasing an impressive spin move on the baseline for an easy layup late in the second quarter. He has 9 points on 5 shots. Bismack Biyombo is 3-for-3 with 5 rebounds at the break, so I can't forget him either.
