Granted I'm a Timberwolves fan, first and formost, I have grew to adopt the Bobcats as my Eastern Conference team (I know, I know, I'm a glutton for punishment...lol). Anyway I do keep up with the Cats moderatly well and am always interested in getting feedback on "hairbrained" trade scenerios with the diehard fans. So I came up with an interesting idea. I know, and understand, the love for Bismack but hear me out. The Bobcats are in serious need of a big man who can score and it just so happens that Minnesota has one ripe for the picking. It's no secret Derrick Williams has talent, and can fill up a statsheet with his scoring when/if given time. But that just so happens to be the problem with Williams, he's stuck behind probably the best PF in the game, in Kevin Love. The Wolves, however, do need a project big who can defend and play both the PF/C off the bench. So my question is, What would the reaction be to a deal centering around Derrick Williams for Bismack Biyombo?
