Tyrus Thomas vs. Andray Blatche is such a depressing matchup. A year ago both of these players had promising futures. Tyrus Thomas was playing well off the bench in Charlotte and Blatche looked to be improving. Now Thomas is struggling in most, if not every, facet of the game and Blatche is getting heartily booed by the home fans. Womp womp womp.

I was thinking, specifically, of a play that I remember him making in the NCAA...
tournament last year. He drove the lane, drew the defender to him, and gave a wrap-around pass to his teammate underneath the basket for an easy bucket.

That's certainly subject to interpretation...
but at the very least, personal attacks are crass, cheap, and unnecessary when the initial post is just an opinion (however ignorant it may be). Personal attacks also begets even more tasteless personal attacks, and the next thing you know, everyone’s lighting up their flame throwers. I’m monitoring what Bismack does on the boards and in the shot blocking department, I’m checking for Kemba’s shooting percentage and point total, I’m checking to see how many points Henderson’s man allows and how many he puts up and how efficiently. We’ll get our top pick without trying to tank.

He may up and leave them like he did the Sonics though. There was also a time that he was rumored to be replacing Larry Brown. He and Mike are good friends so I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility. Just depends on what goes on in Oregon.

Wallace opting out, Batum not getting extension, Oden still not healthy, ya never know. The Blazers were pretty bad when he left the Sonics to join them so I don’t know. I know where you’re coming from though.

I hate this for Kemba
He is going to get criticised by people as not being able to run an offense just because none of these scrubs no how to play basketball
He, HIMSELF, is 4-15 in the first half.
That is really bad, sir. I’m not trying to criticize Kemba, but simply cannot be absolved of any and all flaws.
To be fair, he’s only committed one turnover. So, he’s taking good care of the ball. But he is definitely thinking shoot first right now.

He's learning. He won't be perfect out the gate.
He will have some bad shooting nights, some bad distributing nights, or maybe both. But he’s already able to create is own shot, something some players NEVER figure out.
All I’m saying is that he had a bad first half. Hell, he may even turn it around before the game is over. I have no reason to believe that he won’t.

there's just a lot on Kemba's shoulders now
And probably more than he can handle. Saw probably like the last 8 min of the half but how were Kemba’s 15 shots for the most part like? Were they at least good shots? The shot right before the half on the iso didn’t look too good and it would be nice if his teammates would actually move around.
Did catch both of his assists (one to Diaw on the reverse layup and the lob to Mullens) which were good finds…. it’s just he’s the best offensive option so I’m not sure he should be passing too much.
I know one thing – you don’t wanna try and dunk on TT. If there is one skill he’s exceptional at it’s definitely hitting the reject button…… just not sure if that/defense/frebounding alone is worth paying 8 mil for :facepalm:

These two nights five you the feeling it will be 10 years before we compete
I guess having all these guys out just really is killing us. Because when we traded Wallace we were still losing but were competitive you could tell we only had a year or two till we compete again. And from the post Wallace team the only player we gave up was Jax. So when you do that math we are only two drafts away from being a playoff team. I think with all the money we will have this off season will lead to some good FA signings, nothing big but make our bench better.

Maybe if we’re still losing like this when all of our hurt guys are back from injury. But for now, I can take nights like this in stride.

I have to be honest. I like Kemba and...
I know his career is young, but I have been disappointed in what he’s given us thus far. I realize he’s going to get better, and I look forward to that being sooner rather than later.
Im not trying to get onto you
But I really dont think any fan from any team can be dissapointed with any of there rookies since they have had no offseason and I wish people would realize it is a BIG DEAL when you dont have an offseason with the team or even SL. This is actually what I expected from Kemba and BB as exceeded my expectations.
Solid game for Tyrus and Carroll
I get on Tyrus a lot for needing to bulk up and making too much but he played well tonight and was going all out.
Carroll was just feisty and good to see him score some points. It was ugly but I was glad to at least see the team not quit and show some effort in the 2nd half….. just being out-gunned and inexperienced will do that. Just hope those guys and the coaching staff can stay with it.
