I mean with our draft history – if he can just be a very solid 10+ yr vet for us I’ll be happy. If he becomes a star, that would be awesome but I do think that may be expecting a lot. Kemba needs to more viable sidekicks first. Time will tell.

Just looking at the boxscore – our front court going 3-15 isn’t pretty and Kemba with 4 TO’s isn’t great but seems like he’s shooting well. Looks like Biz got the quick hook with only 2 min so far.

well Kwame was with the Wizards for 4 years and that didn't work out.
Its going to be much of the same mediocrity for Kemba. He’s not a good passer or shooter and if he’s not scoring he’ll just start forcing up shots all the time. He wasn’t the best player the Bobcats could have picked in the draft, thats all I’m saying.

I love our team. And I really don’t think we’re super terrible. But we played this way tonight, and Silas’ decision to play Diop over Biyombo when the game was still in question is still killing me. I joke about our sucktastic play tonight because I care.

Despite the fact that half of our players belong in the D-League and....
the other half would ride the pine on teams like the Lakers, Heat, and Magic, we are not that far off. There’s a fine line between bad and good.

Maybe I’m alone, but I don’t come to this site to find new reasons to bitch and moan about my team. I love the game of basketball and I love this team. As bad as we are, I’m going to take what good I can out of the situation because I know we aren’t going anywhere anytime soon anyway. There’s no need to dwell on the fact that we’re just a bad basketball team. Whining about it won’t fix it, and it only adds to the problem.
And you think the fact that you aren't "whining" about it...
will fix the “problem”. There is nothing you or I could say, negative or positive, that will change the circumstances that surround this team. The fact that you and I are commenting about the Bobcats on this website is a testament to the fact that we both still care. Let me put it more plainly: you aren’t a better fan than I am because you choose not to comment as negatively as I do. Lastly, we aren’t that much different when you consider the fact that we are both Bobcat fans and we want this team to get better.

Yes we do
And I know being positive doesn’t make the team better, but it makes watching them lose 10 games in a row bearable. It’s like, if I watch the Bobcats get blown out I’ll be like “Dang, we lost again. But at least it looks like Hendo is turning into a legit threat or whatever.” And then it’d be nice to come here and discuss with other fans what positives we can take out of a poor team performance. It really just adds to the disappointment when after I see my team lose, all I hear from a large group of fans is cut him and fire him and we’re just pure garbage and we’re destined to forever be a bottom dweller and the like.
It doesn’t make the team worse, just like optimism doesn’t make the team better. But pessimism makes watching the team even harder, while optimism makes watching a struggling team more bearable.
IMHO it is OK as a Fan, especially one who loves Basketball, to be pissed about a Bad basketball. We pay alot of money in support of our team and last night and on many nights we get a bad product. Its not our duty to kiss mjs butt and praise him for giving us such a great team. As a fan we have a right to speak out either negative or positive about the Team. We are all on here because we love the Bobcats but we are not obligated to love every player or to Love getting our butts kicked.

I think our draft pick status is fine
The more we win, the less important a draft pick is to us anyway (at least that’s the way I see it). And the way we’re playing right now, we’ll be in such a hole there won’t be much that can be done to get us out.
Besides, I’m sure the perfectly legitimate and unrigged lottery balls will bounce the way of New Orleans to make it easier for the league to sell the team.
