Price would be a better option alongside Walker if we’ve decided to move on. Bigger and a better defender, though we’d certainly lose lots of playmaking ability.

Miles and Samuels would be guys I’d be happy to look at this summer, or if we knew one would be amenable to an extension.

These are the kind of young, cheap acquisitions we should be looking to explore, not throwing a ton of money at a (likely) peaked-out veteran we’ll have to overpay in free agency.

Personal attacks are the weapon of the ignorant.

im actually a fan

Of Miles and Samuels also. But I dont know how we could maneuver that actually. As far as Miles is concerned, I can’t see him coming here for a half a season. He’s more than likely to land on a contender like the Knicks or Nuggets. And we have a logjam at PF. So I can’t see us getting Samuels. But both are good players

Take it from a Louisville fan

We want Garcia. We do not want Samardo.

Garcia is exactly the kind of guy we need – an athletic wing who can shoot the basketball from range. Samuels left Louisville after two seasons, and absolutely nobody noticed.

Garcia, though, is old, and on the downside of his career.

True, I suppose

That Final Four run was back in 2005, I guess. I feel old.

Yeah he's dont

But i still see Martell Webster being a good fit. Or tradin for Jason Thompson if he agrees to sign an extension. It would make White expendable. Bc we can def get a late rd’r for him AND Diaw in separate trades. And having Thompson or Samuels makes that move “not so bad”. Or it Nenad is coming back, we shoud def take a look at him

No.

There are all clearly cheap options for contenders to buy from losing teams at the trade deadline. We don’t have any interest in these kinds of players.
