2011 potential FA targets and what they could offer the Cats: SG-Michael Redd-UFA-Even with injury concerns, could be a fairly cheap option. Could be a great 6th man. SG-Von Wafer-UFA-Streaky shooter that could be a nice compliment to Henderson off the bench. SF-Josh Howard-Would be a nice option at SF that could be brought in relatively cheap. Tough player. SG/SF-Kelenna Azubuike-We love giving guys second chances, especially with prior injuries. The kid has an excellent all-around game, could be a steal if he can remain healthy. SF-Luc Richard Mbah a Moute-Super versatile player that loves doing the dirty work. Underrated defender. C-DeAndre Jordan-Will probably not be givin the chance to leave Clips, but reminds me of a young Dalembert. C-Greg Oden-I would gladly ship Diaw for his rights, Livingston and his recovery makes all things possible. Pick #9 potential candidates: SF-Kawhai Leonard-Defensive stud with a rebounders mentality. Needs to improve shooting, but excels in all other aspects of the game. PF-Kenneth Faried-Plays with ferocity, aggression, and has plenty of athletic ability to boot. Although he is a bit raw offensively, his rebounding prowess is truly what sets him apart. Rodman 2.0? C/PF-Bismack Biyombo-Raw talent with an NBA body. Great defensive instincts as a shot-blocker with a nose for rebounding. Reminds me of Serge Ibaka, but needs lots of work as an offensive player. Pick #19 potential candidates: SF-Tyler Honeycutt-Silky smooth player that could evolve into a Tayshon Prince type, especially defensively. PF-Jeremy Tyler-Former number 1 HS big man that played overseas in asia and wasn't very dominant. Talent is undeniable, just needs coaching and maturity to realize potential. C-Lucas Noguiera-Looks like the next big thing from Brazil. Ultra-athletic 7 footer in the mold of Tyson Chandler. Needs time to gain weight and develop a back to the basket game, but could be a defensive beast as a shot-blocker early on. Pick 39 potential candidates: C-Kieth Benson-Although his talent and athletic ability are very apparent, would be a first round prospect with more work ethic and focus. Could be a nice pick-up i 2nd round. PG-Josh Selby- Former number 1 PG prospect had a rough season at Kansas, but his potential as an immediate contributer couldbe a coup in round 2. These are my personal favorites and I hope the Cats can come away with a few of these players as building blocks towards the future...Sorry I kind of piggybacked your post TS...These are my personal preferences as the draft draws closer...Enjoy!!!
