Our Responsibility as Fans: Playoff Edition

In watching the first day of an already exciting postseason, I realized something. We as Bobcats fans NEED to be watching the playoffs CLOSELY. Now I've come to realize that some of us are basketball Bobcats fans. And the other part of us are just Bobcats fans (those who dont watch basketball unless the Cats are playing). I happen to be a basketball fan. But the point of this FanPost isnt to say which kind of fan is better.

As we all know, the Bobcats are now in the dreaded rebuilding stage. Meaning there are players and systems that we as a team may need to adopt/acquire...

I know these post and opinions have little to no effect on the Front office's actual decisions. (and that this isnt written as good as my boy Ben Swanson could write it) but these playoffs are going to shape the NBA going forward. It will set new trends, it will be the breakout of several players (Neal, Mayo, Collison, Young, the whole Nuggets team, Gray, Taj Gibson)...and it could write the end for good players who just may need a change of scenery (Dwight, Paul. Roy, Bonner/Novak, Fields, Magloire, Glen Davis, Jeff Green, Harden, Shannon Brown, the whole Nuggets team)

This is our chance to see where our team needs to improve. How we will matchup in upcoming years with the top contenders. Which teams will make room for us for whatever reason (PHI: no AI next season Bos: age/center ORL: this is the last walk for Howard.)

Again, it isnt our responsibility but It would make the site better. Also a way (for those Bobcats first basketball second fans) to become in tune and relate with the sport.
