New Orleans won the coin flip today. The Bobcats lock in with pick #19. Our own pick is currently #9. We have a small chance to win lottery pick #1, #2, or #3 if our lottery ball is drawn. If a team with picks #10 to #14 wins an earlier lottery pick this would move us back a spot.
We have a 98% chance of remaining at the #9 and #19 spots.

It is what it is...
I would love to crack the top 3, but I would be satisfied with picks at 9 and 19. Give me Kawhai Leonard with pick 9 and Kenneth Faried with pick 19 and I would be very, very happy…
we only need to draft ahead of
either toronto or cleveland to get one of the two top tier centers
I think a trade happens to move up...
and based on the player traded…that let’s you know what we are looking at in the draft…

weak draft = best reason to trade up
Why wouldn’t we trade up to get one of the top picks instead of settling for a player who probably would be a late first rounder with this year’s 9th pick and a second rounder with this year’s 19th?
Really, outside of maybe the top 6 players, there isn’t a lot of NBA potential in this draft. I’d hate to miss out on those players and get stuck with question marks.
