Panic Time?
As many of you know last nights lackadaisical performance was hard to watch. Defense awful, Jackson hurt, Pryzbilla was limping around the court, Diaw was Diaw, and the new prospect Cunningham went 0-6. I was really questioning last night if this is the same Bobcats team that I used to love watching every night, hustling, playing defense, and never quitting on a play. Then I came to realize that Denver is still a great team without Carmelo, they are fighting for home court in the West, and we just got some new players who have yet to gel. I still believe with a little luck, the Bobcats can make the playoffs this year. Silas just needs to find a rotation with the new pieces, and they need to have constructive practices to build some chemistry. Hopefully DJ White can prove that he deserves minutes over Najera. Yeah I love the tough guy mentality, but I think with DJ's athletic capabilities, he can ultimately contribute more. I also still believe Cunningham can be the player that the Portland fans were raving about on this site after the trade, he just needs more time in the system to figure out his role, maybe become a Gerald Wallace replacement? Is it time to panic? No, they just need more time to gel together, and find some chemistry, then we can be a competitive team again.

I agree
It’s too early to panic. We definitely need to pick up at least one win on this road trip, though.
Cats' Magic number: 14
Games remaining: 22
Jack Bauer: "WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF TIME!"
It wasn't pretty
But Indiana lost too, and they’re at Dallas Friday night, then at Houston Saturday. So, if we can steal one at either LA or Portland, odds are we’ll do no worse than keep pace with the Pacers. The team looked dead in the water last night, but if we’re going to go through growing pains, our playoff competition’s schedule means this isn’t a bad week for that to happen.

I guess this isn't really our take...
It’s more of what needs to happen to secure the playoffs for us.

Denver might have gotten better
with the trade of Melo, they have a ton of depth and a ton of scorers. They are going to be good and they are fairly young with some draft pics coming.
all those guys
all those draft picks. Plenty to give away. woot!

Why panic...that would indicate an emergency...
..when in fact this is a slow crumble of the season. You’ll see horrible games, a spurt here and there, but largely watch the Cats fall back, then clearly out of the playoffs. This team is in no shape to assemble a charge. Even if we did, to what avail? In a weak draft I’ll take a lottery or 2 please…thank you James!
Its Not a SPAM...Its The Truth
1. Get a Center/Pg for Diaw (he is sought after by a few teams) (Dallas, Toronto, Orlando, Golden State)
2. OJ MAYO…simple. Memphis was goin to trade him away for basically nothing. Hendo is good but not quite starter material…
3. Maurice Evans or Terrence Williams (can back up Jackson for the remainder of his contract then start…both can play sg/sf…both are rotting on the benches…both are fairly cheap)…Azibuke, Roger Mason, Shawne Williams are also available
4. We got plenty of pieces (unproductive) Diaw, Livingston or Augustine (i think thats decent at pg…nobody else thinks so). Matt Carroll, Diop, McGuire, 2 1st rd picks for a WEAK DRAFT…
5. Stop Tryn to Get a MEGA STAR (Chris Paul) and give these players a chance
6. All these are possible and cost efficient. AND PRODUCTIVE.
7. Denver, Memphis, PHX, Portland, ATL (The Anti SuperTeams) are doin well bc of the group of guys meshing together.
