Lakers propose trade to Bobcats for Ron Artest

ESPN's Rick Bucher reported that the Lakers have contacted the Bobcats about a potential trade of Ron Artest for either Jax or Wallace.

PLEASE for the love of GOD do not let this happen!! Could you imagine Ron Ron and Captain Jax back together again?? This is all part of the Lakers deal trying to land Melo from Denver as reported earlier in the day. LA would give up Bynum for Melo. Denver wasn't interested in Odom, Artest, or anyone else for that matter.
