it could make some games more exciting and net us a few more wins than we would’ve gotten otherwise

I don't think Arenas has any interest in playing here

I know we could claim in the amnesty process but I would seriously pass on this one. We’re building a team of young, high character guys who play their tails off (not counting Boris) so I view Arenas more as a poison than anything else.

Bringing him on board totally goes against the philosophy of youth development & building through smart draft picks. I obviously don’t have a huge body of work to gauge Cho’s work as a member of the Bobcats’ FO, but this does not seem like his cup of tea.
