Bobcats general manager Rod Higgins said that with the maximum 15 players under contract (and 13 of those healthy), there's not a slot to sign a big man and it's highly unlikely the NBA would grant them an emergency 16th roster spot.

So the Bobcats will look to fill the void from within. That means turning to Dominic McGuire, Eduardo Najera and Derrick Brown.
