Wow, he didn't pull punches.
At the start of part 2 (it’s a 3 clip interview) he absolutely drops the hammer on DJ and several other players. At the end of the third segment he all but apologizes to Deej saying that he doesn’t believe that Augustin was fully healthy and that he “had a coach that went a little crazy on him.” I’m sure most of you have already seen the clips, if not, you should view them ASAP.
For me the most significant moment was when Brown was asked about the loss of Felton. If you’ve not seen the interview yet, watch for it. “I died,” he begins and then, after elaborating for a bit, seems to get a lump in his throat and is unable to even speak in complete sentences. Despite his almost apologetic comments regard DJ at the end of the videos, there’s no way Augustin can feel good about the things that were said. On top of all the other issues the man was dealing with last season, he now is being treated like the less-loved brother that can’t measure up to the memory of his older sibling.
Brown’s comments about the point guard situation was like watching a scene from Walk Hard. It was a steady stream of comments that amounted to, “the wrong KID died!”

I felt the same way. I sat and watched it all last night.
He sounded positive about Kwame…he mentions Diop losing some weight, and that was about it.
There wasn’t much positive shared.
Lots of “ifs”…much like here…so today it begins.
I hope that there is LOTS of footage on www.bobcatsbasketball.com
and I hope we see some positive
I got a feeling DJ will be back to his 1st year form and Liv will be a beast.
And FYI, here is the Legend for this years MST3K Bobcats Edition when referring to players:
Jax
Crash or Predator
DJ
Liv
Special K – Kwame
Naz
Derr-Devil or Double D
Taz or T2 – Tyrus
Hendo
nonchalant – Diaw
Feel free to help build this….this is all I got for now

hmm
Augustin = Deej, Short-time, Doormat, Blametaker, Dewey Cox (see above Walk Hard reference)
Jax= Capn’, Gatling (shoot a bunch so sooner or later he’s gonna hit something), Mr T (because of the new rules), Lazarus (because he came to Charlotte and got resurrected!)
Wallace= Senator (because if he ran I’D vote for him!), Da Beast, Wallace Charlotte Ranger (because of the Chuck Norris joke page),
Livingston – let me see him play a bit first.
Kwame Brown – B3(how many people named Brown will he end up with on the payroll?), The Chariman (he’s going to take over our Center by Committee), Outhouse (he wants to be a Shaq but he just isn’t big enough)
Nazr= The Prophet (that should be obvious), BC (for blue collar. You ever notice he just goes out there and does his work? No flash, no flare, just gettin’ it done)
Derrick Brown = B2, Minuteman (he’s ready to go on a moment’s notice and will produce with the minute or so LB will actually give him each game)
Tyrus Thomas= I’ve always liked Taz.
Henderson = The Rook (he didn’t actually have a rookie year yet, now did he?), Junior (what can I say, I watched his dad play)
Diaw = For Sale, Statue (because you never see him move), Part-Time (because once in a while he actually shows up for work), Bore-us (because that’s what he does)
Larry Brown = B1, Turtleman (let’s face it, he looks kinda like one),
It’s early yet and there are more and better nicks to be earned.
