Larry Hughes coming back? Please say it isn't so.

The Boston Celtics still need a swingman behind Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. Could it be Larry Hughes? Word is the Cs and Bobcats are interested. Hughes is looking good in workouts.
Please NO! Why would we sign Hughes? This to me makes no sense at all. Our current roster is such.
DJ/Livingston
Jax/Hendo/Carroll
Crash/UPS/McGuire
TT/Diaw/Najera
Dampier/Nazr/Diop
Where does Hughes fit in with this roster? I do not want Larry Hughes back in Charlotte.

all I can think of...
is that MJ is still trying to bolster the roster for a big trade that might be in the works. At least I prey to the lord that this is what’s going on. I like Hughes, but I agree…confusing roster moves unless something else is in the works.

If you make this move please just trade Hendo now so it can end my suffering.
now that I think about it...
I think signing Hughes would slot him into a back-up SG slot, and a 3rd back-up PG spot….which would give us three potential PGs. So my theory on stacking the roster for a move is becoming more and more bleak :( What in the world are they doing?!??!?!

But we’re talking about Larry Brown and his penchant for stacking old vets on his court like wood on his fireplace. Geez, sometimes I love having that guy coaching the team, and other times….

There is speculation that New York will make a push to trade for Carmelo Anthony or Chris Paul before the season begins. The Nuggets and Hornets maintain that they are not interested in trading their respective superstars
