Printwell this is the news i was told to listen for. this is not speculation, or a "what if" thing, but this is definately a good sign for us. it is a perfect fit, and as of september, this is more than a slight chance of happening. stay tuned

News v. speculation
If it’s news then you have information it’s happening but an announcement hasn’t been made, hence listening for news… therefore meaning its definite.
It’s speculation is someone said something may happen, but it’s not 100%
Sounds like this isn’t news, but speculation and/or rumor.

You said ‘this is news to listen for’… isn’t that what we’re all doing? Listening for news?
Either your guy knows enough to verify this true, therefore you’re communication news… or it’s a speculative rumor with a less than 100% chance of happening; it can’t be both.
Your post said “This is not speculation” but then said “this is more than a slight chance of happening”. So which is it? Truth or rumor?

this is sort of a truce thing .we keep fighting on every blog site and you seem to put me down when ever i try and express my opinion i understood the Allen Iverson thing i was saying it in posts that didnt relate to him but i learned from that and over at Talking Chop you were bashing me for wanting Manny and talking about Manny on a Manny fanpost and i cant beleive that you honestly would treat someone like that for expressing there opinion even if you think it is wrong i mean blog site are for expressing your opinion so im going to guess you have another problem with me. im not trying to call you out im trying to figure out how to stop the fighting for a good relationship on these blog sites. and im sorry everyone for going off topic.

It makes common sense we would be talking to Denver so we’ll just see how it plays out. So much wheeling and dealing to be done and camp is only one month away. Who needs football?

said that it is likely that if melo leaves, that billups would want out. now look, when i hear something about the bobcats, i am going to post it. just as ourday did with chris paul, he, just like me, heard a source said we are looking into gettin paul, in my case it was billups, then soon after, it was said publicly that we were looking into getting him. with billups, the espn rumor central said that he would likely be gone if melo left, which kind of supported what my source told me. now mike, if you dont like what i post, then dont read the damn thing, im going to continue to post, and those who want to hear what i have to say, can read it. it seems that you have a problem with other people too, and you need to chill out with that….this is an open blog, and people can write almost anything they want within reason, and you bashing people is ridiculous, so just shut up, and try to make this fun, i dont care what you have to say

i mean am i wrong am i making a jerk of my self or does Mike need to change the way he talks around here? I agree that this was not fanpost worthy butMike it seems like to me insults people. He has harrassed me so much on this blog and Talking Chop to the point i almost hate giving my honest opinion because i think he will come out of nowhere and tell me how stupid it is. please people tell me if im wrong. Especially James and Ourday because you guys are the only one he doesnt treat like this when you disagree with him. If im being dumb right now then im sorry im just Tired of this guy.
I didn't want to climb into this debate but...
When I first arrived here at RoF there was one person here that seemed to be my personal nightmare. I quickly found out that the individual treated almost everyone else with similar contempt as well. For quite a while I took the bait and got into a number of scrapes with the person. There was no peace. I finally decided to just ignore the person completely. At first, this individual started making even more antagonistic posts, trying to get me to rise to the bait. It wasn’t easy, but I just continued to ignore the dude. Eventually he stopped and we actually had a couple of very productive “conversations” here.
I’m not going to get into which one of you is “right” in these arguments the two of you are having. Choosing sides isn’t going to help. What I am saying is that if you each pretend the other doesn’t exist I think you will find that overall the RoF experience will be more pleasurable. If even one of you were to adopt that attitude it would make things more enjoyable for the rest of us at the very least.
Mike may be coming across as having a personal thing against you here, but he (and several others) have made some valid points and I’ve seen the overall quality of your posts improve as you’ve taken some of the suggestions to heart. Here is a philosophy from my religious faith that may help:
“If a person has 9 good qualities and 1 bad, focus on the 9. It they have 9 bad qualities and 1 good, focus on the one.”
It may seem trite, but the advice is sound. If you keep your attention on the positives – or expend the necessary energy to FIND them – you feel more relaxed and peaceful about yourself as well.

But he just take it to far if he would just speak to me then I would have no problem with him heck like you said we would probably have good conversations but i wont have respect for a man that does that to people. Just like how you say I have changed I think he needs to change how he expresses his opinion but if he contionues to be insulting ill ignore it but hopefully he will atleast think about it because he does seem like someone to have a good argument with.
Ourday, as you stated - Ignoring works
If someone puts out a poorly created or uninteresting fan post or comment, the fact that no-one on RoF comments will send a message. The fact that this fan post has received 46+ comments seems to indicate that RoFers are interested in some manner. Mike & TS Bobcat have certainly done their part to promote this fan post.
It took a while, but the extremely negative individual in early 2010 disappeared after RoF members stopped replying to his hate of the Bobcats. RoFers can make the same choice here. Comment on Fan Posts that you like. Reply to comments to that you wish to debate. Ignore fan posts and comments that are no interesting. For example the one I just typed.

James speaks for almost everyone. This one should of been closed down the moment it was put up. From the very get go it has been immature and unprofessional and has continued all the way down. Lets shut this one down.

Just read the posts here, and it's a shame..
I get that T-Time wants to have some style as he’s hinting with anticipation at the Cats being seriously after Billups based upon an insider he knows. That’s cool. My late Mom was an English teacher, and I am quite literate as a writer within my profession. Still, I’m not offended by T-Time’s post. It’s designed to start a conversation and have some fun with the potential of what may come. I don’t care for the cursing..but that’s my deal. I do tire of the excessive parenting coming from Mike in repetitive e-mails…it reminds me of a youngster who won’t stop with the “did too…did not…did too…did not” yelling.
So, I’m interested in whatever else you hear T-Time!
