And if that means talking up Kwame Brown, telling him that it's going to be alright when it's quite clear that everything's gone wrong, then [Michael Jordan]'ll do it. This also means he'll be petty and cruel to someone like Brown, but it also means that he's trying to work this from all angles. All of them, when it comes to trying to knock some sense into a person like Kwame Brown, destined to fail.

I have never, and I repeat NEVER

seen so many people make such a fuss over a player being signed for the minimum.

You sir, are right

I was trying to explain to my friend that the only reason I really hated this was because it makes MJ look stupid to the general public. Otherwise, it’s not the worst thing. He was signed for the minimum, so what’s the problem? And then he took offense that I was defending this move. Kwame likely won’t see much time anyway.

Exactly.

People only get it if you ask them which would you rather have, “Kwame for the minimum, or Diop for 7million”. This is a no lose situation for us. At the worst, we get 6 extra fouls to use against Howard and the Magic in the playoffs. At the best, Larry lights a fire under Kwame and has him playing at or above the level of other scrub centers in the league. There is no pressure here now. He’s not the number 1 pick in Washington, we didn’t trade him for Caron Butler like L.A. did, we didn’t trade him for Pau Gasol like Memphis did, and we’re not looking at him to turn his whole career around like the people of Detroit did. We know what we’re getting into with Kwame. And as long as Desagana Diop is around to be getting paid 7 mil a year to air ball a free throw every 4 games, I’ll always have that constant reminder that it could always be worse.

You have an inside source to Meck. County Government?

That’s cool as shit man. Can you tell me how the school funds are going to be allocated for the coming year? I have a feeling that they’re going to be spending big on chalk and erasers, but a buddy of mine keeps telling me that it’s white boards all the way.
