Observer: Bobcats' success brings a bounty of season-ticket sales
The Bobcats, who reached the playoffs for the first time in their six-year history last spring, have renewed 91percent of their season ticket holders and sold 1,575 new season tickets for the 2010-11 season, which begins in October.

Great news
This bodes well for the financial stability of the franchise and also means that local support is increasing. Not surprising as this is a frontrunner town. Hopefully the Cats can make another playoff push and not lose the momentum they have gained this year.

Awesome news.
Let’s just hope that MJ and LB don’t let the fans down and go back to being mediocre after all of that. I knew all it ever took was a little success to get people back on the Bobcats bandwagon. Playoff basketball was missing for too long in Charlotte.

We have an owner that love to win
That is the Jordan effect he will do whatever is in his power to win! Let’s respect that and supported! Go cats!

Great synergy
I’m really looking forward to the rest of roster changes, and the start of the next season In November.
Ya know, this is probably a huge blessing for us.
This will probably motivate Jordan to really try to push this team to championship caliber. He now knows, if they win, they will come. Charlotte isn’t the hugest market, but it also has a LOT of potential. We’re just only interested in winning teams though.

Good article compared to a lot of articles on Observer...
but damn can we get a more recent pic than 2008 & one of someone other than Matt Carroll. When the Observer had new on the Tyrus signing they had a picture of him in a Bulls uniform. No wonder they’re losing money if the rest of their website and paper are of this quality.
WAS being the operative word
Crash is the heart and soul of the team or show MJ. Maybe a pic of the two of them.
Still doesn’t cover up the Tyrus in Bulls uniform blunder. Their reporting is a C+ at best especially involving Bobcats.

Well...
2008 was the last time Carroll was in a Bobcats uniform until he was traded to Dallas. I figured that was their line of thinking when selecting that photo.
I understand that part...
but why even put Matt Carroll as the pic? He’s not part of us getting “better” and selling more tickets, wasn’t part of the playoff run. In fact it’s his shitty contract that netted us Diop then we decided you know what we have one shitty contract why not get two! Double up? No Double down.
