At the bottom it says:
Brown's price tag
Question: Why did all the rumblings about Larry Brown wanting to leave the Bobcats to coach the Sixers or Clippers instead, so prevalent in May and June, quietly fade away?
One answer: NBA coaching sources say that Bobcats owner Michael Jordan made it clear to Brown and any interested team that the Bobcats would insist on compensation -- presumably draft considerations -- to let Brown out of his contract.

I think to be closer to his family.
His wife is in Philly and reportedly would have moved to LA but has no desire to move to Charlotte…can’t say I blame her.

i think thts dumb
Charlotte is a great city its not as glamorus but it is stupid to refuse to move here
Ehhh I will come back one day...
but I live in DC now and once the big city spoils Charlotte doesn’t have much to offer except a laid back life. It’s not for everyone. Traffic is terrible too. 77 is a parking lot everyday.

this is a 60 year old wife isnt tht wat she is looking for haha
i jsut cant believe charlotte is tht bad of a city i lvoe going there
I don't think she's that old
for some reason I want to think she’s a good bit younger than him. Not “let’s go clubbing” young, but probably likes to shop I guess. That’s what women do, right?

but Charlotte has plenty of places to shop
i know it is not as good as philly or LA as NY by any means but i think its a lil ridiculous and snobbish to actually refuse to move here. am i wrong? now its understandible if they dont wana move the kids but i thought it was the wife
LOL
I think she’s in her early/mid 40s and yes, all women like to shop and go to the spa.

DC
is much worse for traffic than Charlotte. DC and NOVA are gridlocks everyday. I would much rather live in Charlotte than DC…Charlotte is also much cheaper to live in than the DC metro. Not sure what Brown’s wife has against Charlotte, but who cares as long as Brown is coach.
I'm talking about the nightlife and there are other modes of transportation
I will be back one day just don’t know when. I agree I wouldn’t want to be involved in the NOVA mess everyday. What I pay in rent I could have a mortgage on a nice home in Charlotte, but to Larry and his wife money probably doesn’t mean too much.
Good find
I still think the saga of “Larry wanting to go home” was a bit inflated, but it’s really encouraging to see that MJ wasn’t about to let his hand picked coach walk away without some kind of asset in return. Besides, this upcoming season just wouldn’t be the same without LB giving his patented “WTF are you thinking?!” glare at the latest Bobcat that forced him to burn a time out.
His mad b/c DJ didn't do the spin move when he crossed half court.
Why they did that last year still blows my mind.

This is why Larry was pouting when he showed up in Charlotte
Another poster friend pointed this out. Remember when he finally showed up during the “is Larry ever coming back?” talk, and his comments were all draggy and empty, talking about he was coaching here? He acted like he was being forced to eat poop! I guess he was sad that he couldn’t get his way.
LB can be high maintenance, and this season could get out of hand quickly if things don’t go well.
he wants to coach here he just wants to be with his family mre
he even said he love coaching here and being with MJ
Don't read too much into this
If he wanted to stay at home, he would retire.

I have no idea
It got comical to me. I would seriously laugh every time he did it.

+1
My roommate, who doesn’t watch basketball at all, would watch part of the games with me just to count the number of random Felton spin moves. Then DJ started doing it…
but
For real does anyone know why at all they do that, i was thinking maybe its a part of a playcall of my friend said that maybe its supposed to throw the D off somehow

By making them laugh?
I did every time. Hilarity. Billups doesnt/never did it so it’s not an LB thing.
I WONDERED THIS TOO!!!
I would always say…Why is he spinning? The defender is nowhere near him…

LMAO at somebody's comment on the video
I swear it looks like how in the old NBA Live games, when you hit the Dunk button at the three point line. LOL
