I can only tell you what I’ve been told. I promise I am not lying, nor do I have any reason to believe my sources are lying, especially after talking to Ourdaywillcome about what he was told.
That being said, I’m not MJ, I’m not the Bobcats, nor am I any of the team/teams involved. I have no new information from last night except my source telling me that a lot is flying around.

I lived in boone the past 2 season
and couldn’t get the games on Charter OR the NBA’s online deal. The NBA blocked out the games because they were supposed to be shown on cable. Cable blocked them because…well they’re assholes.

I believe you though. Getting Dampier doesn’t make sense without a trade in mind. We’re not the Clippers.
All signs are that everything stated is still very possible.

For the record, while my wife was helping me to the bathroom a few minutes after my last post I got a sharp stab in my back and down my leg. That’s the last thing I remember. I woke up a few minutes ago on the mattress we keep on the living room floor for me to lie on and my wife (God bless the day I met her) rubbing my legs and crying not sure whethre to call an ambulance or let me rest. I get her reassurred, get still more oxicontin and vicodin in me, and prop up to see if I have any new news only to be greeted by crap and garbage. I now no longer give a damn. This ain’t worth it.
It hasn’t been bs, not from word one. It ain’t happened and I’m beyond caring if it does. Have a nice day. You jaggoffs that think sending crap emails is fun had your laughs. When this happens or doesn’t you can apologize or burn and flame me some more. I don’t write for this blog, this isn’t my blog, I’m not getting paid… so driving hits doesn’t make any sense for me.
If I wanted to do that I could create a random blogger page, sign up for adsense and try to make some money off it.
So, they can believe what they want. I’m trying to protect my sources, who are friends of mine. I think my only mistake through all of this was getting excited too early on a deal that may not occur until the end of the week (or at all). I’ve been honest this entire time, and while I can’t prove that to anyone over the internet I’ll be able to sleep just FINE tonight not thinking for a second I misled anyone.
I never said this was definite, nor should I have been taken any more seriously that any other rumor flying around… but my guys wouldn’t lie, and when we (Ourday and I) cross referenced what we’d been heard we thought it was similar enough to share (granted vaguely) to make sure our friends/sources were protected.
It is what it is… I’m still here, and I standby what I’ve been told.
Whatever occurs I have said from the beginning that once I know nothing could happen to hurt the careers of the people I know I will tell everyone what was discussed in Vegas.

I know plenty of guys that aren’t that way, but the reputation is there for a reason…..the phrase “a few assholes ruin it for everyone” kind of thing. also, I guess UNC fans are more known for whining than bashing ;)

hoped we didnt get people like that as Bobcats fans…but the world is so messed up nowadays that its not a surprise…and if this trade goes down everyone should stay humble like we all were when we had less than 20 wins and not become huge a-holes and $^$^ talkers like miami heat fans have become
there are guys like that
in pretty much every fanbase
just because we haven’t heard of them as much, and because it seems like there are so many of those guys on the Lakers bandwagon, doesn’t mean they arent there…..I really hate those people…..they’re not fans. A fan likes their team no matter how good or bad they are and believes their team can win without resorting to bashing everyone who doesn’t share the same viewpoint.

I have been following for a little while but normally don’t post. I like that people share what they know or might hear but man sending nasty emails and posting things on facebook really, sad I just enjoy the fact that things are interesting these last few days, people need to calm down.
If they don't have the guts to post here, post their emails so we can have a word with them.
We can demand apologies when everything unfolds. Don’t give up on us. We have thoroughly enjoyed the past 26 hours of anticipation.
Sorry to hear about the back issues. We need to find a miracle cure for you.

I've been visiting the site for about a year and never posted until now
but I wanted to offer some support to Ourday. I’ve enjoyed reading the speculation and hve been hoping for a big splash over the last few days. It’s a shame that a few people have to be such jerks. It takes the fun out of this. Hope you feel better soon.
Real or not...I was enjoying it as were 95% of the people involved here.

amid all this confusion, hate, and spite.
first off, hats off to James and Ourday. period. nobody has the balls they do.
but like i said, we know that certain things have already happened, and my bet is that by the end of this week, SOME trade will be pulled off. thats just my hunch. Damps contract is too valuable and too many people want him.
also, my faith is in the fact that something will happen tonight in Las Vegas. just a hunch

In short, I grew up an anti-NBA person in Warriors country (San Francisco), and became an NBA fan after moving to Charlotte as an adult. Started a site during the 2007-08 season, moved to my own URL before the 2008-09 season, and then during that season was recruited to SBN.
