WAITING FOR THE NUKE TO DROP

your guess is as good as mine. only Highlander (James) and Lord Vader (Ourday) have a clue as to what is going on. lets hope for the best and expect the worst (losing Gerald) my friends. i, myself, am expecting CP3 to wind up in charlotte, but it also wouldnt surprise me if we landed Brandon Roy--but that would require us to lose Gerald. Losing Gerald would be as bad as my first breakup. itd be a pain with a huge void, and i just may have to go into reclusiveness for a good part of my life. without further ado.... DISCUSS!

Can you at least say if Hendo is involved in any deals you’ve heard to give me peace of mind or lack there of?

by JDuaneHipps on Jul 14, 2010 2:55 PM EDT up reply actions

Yes… he would be traded

We trade every player we’ve ever had with any upside or neglected to draft them.

I think we get CP3, Roy and Okafor

Portland gets Rubio and Wallace
NO gets Dampier and stuff
Minny gets Boris

Wow what a low blow. Minus the punch on Hansbrough I’ve never seen the guy do too much bad

by JDuaneHipps on Jul 14, 2010 2:59 PM EDT up reply actions

Nah i didn't mean it in that way.

He’s extremely polite and everything. But when he gets on the court, it’s all business. That’s what i mean.

Oh ok. I agree dude is the prototypical NBA star if and when he becomes a star

by JDuaneHipps on Jul 14, 2010 3:05 PM EDT up reply actions

if we give up Jax

we have no shot at closing games.

i can tolerate losing Hendo. even though he will be great. but better him than Crash, Jax, or even Tyrus

by StudMuffin15 on Jul 14, 2010 2:59 PM EDT up reply actions

Well they’re saying Crash is gone too & this all depends who we’re getting even though I feel I’m going to be left feeling violated. No homo

by Bcat2.0 on Jul 14, 2010 3:00 PM EDT up reply actions

actually a Tarheels fan but the dude has improved immensely and works hard. Talent and hardwork are a rare combo in this league.

by JDuaneHipps on Jul 14, 2010 3:01 PM EDT up reply actions

True but he still has to find a jump shot
Jax is an Allstar level player and he saved our season last year

by Bcat2.0 on Jul 14, 2010 3:03 PM EDT up reply actions

Henderson’s jumper is much improved. So basically we’d be trading him before he really even sees the court. In his only major minutes last season he balled.

we have never kept you talent long enough to develop is my only beef. People are talking about Ajinca would have been a top 10 pick in this years draft by what he was showing @ summer league. What do we do after that send him packing, in a deal we didn’t need to add him to. a La Jared Dudley

by JDuaneHipps on Jul 14, 2010 3:04 PM EDT up reply actions

hes a 7 footer who cant rebound and wont block shots He will never be a starting Center.

by Bcat2.0 on Jul 14, 2010 3:05 PM EDT up reply actions

My point was more being Henderson, but Ajinca might not be anything but dam we draft all these players then never give them the chance. DJ included.

by JDuaneHipps on Jul 14, 2010 3:07 PM EDT up reply actions

Top 10 Pick - Who said that?

He fouled too much and didn’t rebound well. He would have fit in as a 2nd round pick to be stashed in Europe in this draft. Now he can look forward to more time in the D-League with Dallas.

by albesir on Jul 14, 2010 3:17 PM EDT reply actions

Just being realistic here...

but I just don’t see how we’d be able to get CP3, Okafor, AND Roy. I mean I don’t wanna kill everyones hopes and dreams but other than maybe GForce who is a super star on our team. I wouldn’t even put GForce on the level of Kobe/Lebron/Dwade but a tier under despite him being my favorite NBA player ever.

by Aznhobo on Jul 14, 2010 3:22 PM EDT reply actions

Surreal thread

I’d love for the Bobcats to field an all-star team, too, but I’m not so naive as to believe it. Looks like the big news is that Charlotte will sign Sean Livingston. Great signing in my opinion, but I’m sure it will be a letdown to anyone thinking CP, Okafor and Melo were coming here.
