Open Gameday Thread Charlotte Bobcats at Miami Heat

Charlotte Bobcats at Miami Heat, Mar 20, 2010 7:30 PM EDT

TV: Fox Sports Carolinas
Radio: 610 AM
SB Nation Heat Blog: Peninsula Is Mightier

If the Bobcats change their name, that could give singular team names a majority in the Southeast Division. We must not let this happen. Won't someone please think of the children?

UH-oh

Am I the only member of the Rufus Clown Posse in the house tonight?
No way everybody forgot about THIS game! We gotta get some back from last night!

ROOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL CAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

Stephen Jackson said this morning

that he felt like he owed his team one for choking last night. He wants to make it up tonight.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 7:42 PM EDT reply actions

Im not a regular either,

but i’ll be here( at least till the boss gets home. lol)

by griffter10 on Mar 20, 2010 7:42 PM EDT reply actions

Pumped to see some Bobcats!!

I predict Gerald and Jack both will have big games.

by MR. MANN on Mar 20, 2010 7:44 PM EDT reply actions

sounds good.

Chicago is giving it to philli. and thats without deng

by griffter10 on Mar 20, 2010 7:44 PM EDT reply actions

League attendance MUST be down.

I’ve seen bigger crowds at high school games.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 7:45 PM EDT reply actions

There is absolutely no one at this game

And opposing team threads usually comment on how few people are at the cable box? Come on, now.

by Stevarino on Mar 20, 2010 7:45 PM EDT reply actions

It sounds loud.

Wonder if it’s like Charlotte where everyone starts out in the nosebleeds and then works their way down from there.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 7:46 PM EDT reply actions

Ehhh, it's all good

I think the only reason I do one every year is because everyone else does them and I wanna be one of the cool kids.

R.I.P. Stevarino’s Bracket

Seriously

Can someone guard Richardson? He’s outscoring the Bobcats by himself.

by Stevarino on Mar 20, 2010 7:54 PM EDT reply actions

My one quibble with the FS broadcasts.

What sense does it make to pick the “fast break of the game” in the first quarter every night? Could they at least ATTEMPT to make it seem like it’s a legitimate occurence?

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 8:03 PM EDT reply actions

Is Miami's coach even out of kinderrgarden yet?

I bet if you got close to him you’d still smell Similac on his breath.

hello all

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:05 PM EDT reply actions

I'm not sure what Diaw was saying...

But in that slow motion replay they just showed before going to commercial, it looked like he said “f***ing s**t”.

I don’t know why I find this humorous.

by Stevarino on Mar 20, 2010 8:08 PM EDT reply actions

Nobody touching DJ in the lane

I like it. If they keep ignoring him, he’ll make ’em pay for it.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 8:10 PM EDT reply actions

I hope we trounce these suckas

I want the sweep after the recent history of this series.
Beasley projected easy victory
Wade refuses to give Bobcats any credit for winning the last W after he misses 20 of his last 12 shots

idiot comes onto RoF to predict a win for the Heat before the last Cats-Heat game

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:12 PM EDT up reply actions

It's all good. I'm a forgivin' sort.

I’ll even let that jaggoff come back and root for the Cats in the playoffs while the Heat plot their lottery pick

Larry Hughes at the scorer's table!

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:13 PM EDT reply actions

Larry Hughes

Let’s see what he can do…

by Stevarino on Mar 20, 2010 8:13 PM EDT reply actions

I don't like Hughes taking Graham's playing time

The younger guy deserves the minutes. Isn’t that how this works?

by Ft.Mill Bobcat on Mar 20, 2010 8:15 PM EDT up reply actions

I hate Beasley

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:15 PM EDT reply actions

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:20 PM EDT up reply actions

After that push on DJ I want to punch Beasley AND his baby.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 8:21 PM EDT reply actions

How the HELL did Thomas commit the foul there?

Check the end of his arm and see if there’s more than a stump left!

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 8:22 PM EDT reply actions

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:22 PM EDT reply actions

I predict

there WILL be fists thrown tonight before this is over tonight.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 8:24 PM EDT reply actions

So the refs prefer to see Miami in the playoffs?

THat’s what I am seeing by the calls…or lack therof

No wy Tyson wasn’t fouled on that rebound

To say Udonis' name in the same sentence as Alonzo's

is an insult to basketball

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:29 PM EDT reply actions

Not a real entertaining game thus far...

Especially when we can’t get a call. We can beat the Heat…but the Heat, the crowd, and the refs…

by andrewlail76 on Mar 20, 2010 8:30 PM EDT reply actions

Please chalmers shoot more threes

Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.

by Ben Swanson on Mar 20, 2010 8:31 PM EDT reply actions

I think Wade has a string on that ball.

We’ve stolen it from him 4 times and have yet to make it up court with it before it gets stolen back.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 20, 2010 8:32 PM EDT reply actions

Within each of us, ofttimes, there dwells a mighty and raging fury.

Dr. David Banner: Do you think we will ever find where that strength comes from?
Dr. Elaina Marks: I don’t know. But we’ll certainly share a lot of donuts together, and I’ll probably get fat.
