Free Tickets to Wednesday Game

I have two tickets that I just had to pay the service charge for, but I can’t make it to tomorrow’s game. I’ll forward these to the first person to send me an email @ dogsled99@hotmail.com

by milky C on Mar 16, 2010 6:27 PM EDT reply actions

I'll be going to the game

If you don’t get an claims, I can give them away for you before the game if you don’t have any takers. Some of the guys at the bus station might enjoy taking in a game.

Good evening everybody.

I’m still recovering from the surgery last week, but I’m here. I need the laughs!

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 6:56 PM EDT reply actions

Dear Michael Jordan,

if you loved your new franchise, you’d change our road jerseys.

sincerely,
common sense.

There isn't a thing wrong with the road unis.

The problem is that there isn’t a single thing RIGHT with them either.
They are wayyyyy too generic. I didn’t think anything could be so bland that it would make me miss the orange, but please bring back the orange!

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 7:17 PM EDT up reply actions

i can agree with that.

i swear, an orange with blue pinstripes would be pretty cool. id buy one.

I tried making one with Orange and Blue pins.

It looks sweet. Unfortunately, my terrible paint job was unbearable. But using a little darker shade than the Suns orange would look great I think.

Boris passes to Theo

so he can take an even longer jumper. Shoot Boris Shoot…

by Ft.Mill Bobcat on Mar 16, 2010 7:19 PM EDT reply actions

BTW

Recently we threw around some quotes from Airplane and Peter Graves died.
I suggest we start quoting Paulie Shore and Will Ferrell STAT!

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 7:19 PM EDT reply actions

Yeah,

he was watching the movie Jumper in the hotel room earlier, I think.

i hope so too.

Is TJ Ford dancing on the sideline?

It’s exciting for him to see the Bobcats play.

by Ft.Mill Bobcat on Mar 16, 2010 7:24 PM EDT reply actions

Well, judging from the crowd behind the hoop

we won’t be facing any distractions and waving foam when we’re at the stripe tonight. Just a big blank green background.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 7:26 PM EDT reply actions

I've always liked Chandler.

I’ve never had anything but praise for him.
You can go check my past posting record for that.
Not that anyone would ever go through all the posts or anything. lol

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 7:31 PM EDT up reply actions

I want to stop...

but it’s like cowbell…
I just can’t get enough of that good play, even if he is on the bench right now…not hurt or in foul trouble

by andrewlail76 on Mar 16, 2010 7:34 PM EDT up reply actions

Speaking of punching,

did anyone watch 30 for 30: Reggie Miller v. the New York Knicks?

by maverick24 on Mar 16, 2010 7:31 PM EDT up reply actions

No

I was just being glad that Tyson was going to play well tonight

by andrewlail76 on Mar 16, 2010 7:32 PM EDT up reply actions

I'm glad too.

Right now his highlight reel fits on an instamatic flash stick.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 7:33 PM EDT up reply actions

I watched it

I thought it was entertaining but I didn’t learn anything I didn’t already know

by Stevarino on Mar 16, 2010 7:48 PM EDT up reply actions

My thoughts exactly.

There’s no energy. They’re playing listless. If the Pacers actually come out of their coma for a minute or two they’ll be a problem unless we step it up.
We need to have the killer instincts going every minute of every game. To let up, is to give up.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 7:38 PM EDT up reply actions

Foot on the throat kind of attitude.

I just pictured JAX looking down on Troy Murphy Samuel L Jackson style.

It’s going to come back to bite us.

I love Reggie Miller. He’s been my favorite ball player since I was 6

Yeah, I wasn't gonna watch it

But I started watching it and just couldn’t turn the channel. Pretty entertaining.

by Stevarino on Mar 16, 2010 7:50 PM EDT up reply actions

The Pacers announcers just said Durant wasn't at the level of Wade or some of those guys

So whose level is he at when he goes on a 20-something streak of +25 ppg?

and its even more difficult to play against the

sub .500 teams that only have 19 fans at the game.

I like to give credit where it's due but...

all the Pacers did to get this lead was show up on court. There is NO energy coming from the Cats at all.

Jax was brought in as a temp.

But we all love him so much there will be riots if the Management tries to get rid of him now. He’s become a hero here.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 8:34 PM EDT up reply actions

We need Crash in the lineup

Will he be back tomorrow against OK City?

by Ft.Mill Bobcat on Mar 16, 2010 8:34 PM EDT reply actions

They interviewed Crash in the pregame.

He has the boot off and is wearing street shoes. He participated in a light practice, but they want to be sure he’s back strong rather than have him come back hurt and reinjure it.

by Stevarino on Mar 16, 2010 8:42 PM EDT up reply actions

Quote from Dell...

“There’s no energy in this building. The Bobcats have to find a way to get some energy and life out of their offense.”

Dell is the eternal cheerleader for this team. If HE is commenting on it, it must be hideous to be courtside.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 8:39 PM EDT reply actions

This is absolutely pathetic

Beat a top team in the East (Orlando) at their place, no less, and now they’re down double digits to the lowly Pacers midway through the third quarter. I just don’t understand. The rim is still ten feet off the ground.

by Stevarino on Mar 16, 2010 8:41 PM EDT reply actions

No offense meant to your Pacers

(we’ve been in your shoes for 5 years and feel your pain)
but if we are serious playoff contenders, these are the games we should win big and without mercy. This is embarassing.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 8:43 PM EDT up reply actions

no offense take...i like ur team

it still seems like u need another vet tho to put u over the hump and i dont think its larry hughes….

We're welcoming Hughes and trying to be upbeat

but none of us (I don’t think) are really expecting much from him. Most here think he’s a mistake move.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 8:46 PM EDT up reply actions

I feel bad for Granger

He’s one of my favorite players and I think he’s one of the most underrated players in the league but he has absolutely no help in Indy unless Murphy goes on a hot streak.

by Stevarino on Mar 16, 2010 8:46 PM EDT up reply actions

I've always liked Granger.

I’d love to see what he can do with decent starters around him.

by Ourdaywillcome on Mar 16, 2010 8:47 PM EDT up reply actions

yea, we're defintely the Lone Grangers

need major help both with the roster and in the front office….not a good situation

by drsuessrunner07 on Mar 16, 2010 8:48 PM EDT up reply actions

If we come to life in the last minutes of the 3rd and into the 4th we can still tear this up pretty well.

But it will be nothing short of shameful to lose this game.
You KNOW OKC is gonna give us fits tomorrow. We need this win. We were “supposed” to lose the last one. Winning it gave us some nice breathing space. Losing this one just wastes the opportunity completely.

Watch out for the 7 footer

Felton has just got to understand that there’s a 7 footer standing there. It makes no sense that he continues to challenge a seven footer. that’s just dumb.

by LBhater on Mar 16, 2010 8:47 PM EDT reply actions

Probelem is, LBH

He managed to get around a couple of big men in recent games.
Now he thinks he can beat everybody.

Jax keeps trying to light up the team with his long-range

but unless he’s really “on” it just hurts us further.
We need to attack the inside. We Theo and Diaw to start doing some cutting.

LB is one of those coaches...

that will try for just so long and then say, “screw it… you guys wanna lose, just go the hell and head and lose.” He’s wearing that look on his face now. You can see it.
