Yeah as well as my username's punniness
While I’m on it, how many people get the pun? It relates to a movie

I get the movie reference.
Richard Dreyfuss’ daughter is so hot in that movie.
But I dont get the “pun” in the name of the blog. (This is also my first time on the blog).

The bobcat's genus and species is Lynx Rufus.
There is a Bloodhound Gang song called “Fire Water Burn” which contains the line “The roof is on fire.” But there is also a song called “The Roof is on Fire” by Rock Master Scott & the Dynamic Three. I’m not entirely sure which song was the basis of the pun but there you go.
That's also why the idiotic mascot's name is Rufus Lynx.

LB must go !!!
MP, you make me laugh. that’s exactly what LB has been feeding the press. We can trust our veterans, that’s a crock of sh…..t. TALENT PREVAILS !!! This team tonight looked as if they had sun glasses on. Couldn’t hit the side of a barn. You have one SG on the bench and you wont play him. See what the kid has, dont feed me this BS that LB dont trust the rookies. The vets you have coming off the bench can’t get it done. I bet you right now now that the agents for DJ, Hendo and DB are trying like hell to get their players out of here. I wouldn’t blame them. There is no future here for there players. Some idiot above mentioned that free agents would love to come here to be with LB & MJ. LOL, nobody wants to play for LB. He over-coaches and his players don’t have freedom to play. I’m done.
I like DJ and advocated for him to be the pg last year, but how many times does he have get packed under the basket before he realizes he has to be smarter about going inside?

which one?
the one when he drove from the left inside and then passed out to Gerald on the right side. And then Felton swooped back around and Crash then gave it back to Felton who dashed to the hoop for the lay-in? Hmm but knowing you, I’d have to say it would be one of his bone-headed plays

he came in @ 2:21
brown’s pattern has been to bring him in late 3rd. he usually plays the remaining minutes.

This? C'mon, that's not making fun or a joking insult
They were already one of the better teams in the league, and now that they have Butler, that’s more minutes on the floor that won’t be going to the Eduardo Najeras of the world.
That’s just sayin’ how it is

By "these" do you mean the one with 3 centers injured?
If so, then yeah he could get a lot of time. Regardless, David isn’t insulting Najera in any way. All David is saying is that By signing a good 2/3, less time will be going to the bench players (ie. Najera)
Lemonade was a popular drink and it still is.
by WhatAboutBob_cats on Mar 1, 2010 9:05 PM EST up reply actions
Not exactly.
Their minutes don’t come out of the same pool. Najera is a post player, Butler a wing.

by MichaelProcton on Mar 1, 2010 9:09 PM EST up reply actions
He's not referring to Najera alone
He’s using Najera’s name to represent the bench players. By getting a starter and not giving up a starter, obviously less time will be available for the bench players. Is this really that hard for you to understand?

Hard to be a good playmaker when you're being told to anchor the second unit's scoring for most of your career.

How does that apply to this game?
He’s played most of his minutes tonight with Diaw, Jackson, Thomas, and Wallace. The comeback by the Mavs in the first half happened with DJ at the point and the same happened in the second half…and he just shot a wide open air ball.
He needs to come out
DJ is making Terry look better than he actually is

But the game was so pathetic as they got into the 3rd and 4th…I just didn’t have the drive to post jack squat…
Also, my 2 year old ripping the “D” key off of our laptop had me in an ULTRA foul mood.
Not sure I can re-attach it…again…that’s right…I said again…
