The Latest on LB's Plans this week

Tyson Chandler says he's ready. Larry Brown has informed him that he will not be used as a starter until he shows he can mesh with the team's current chemistry. Brown says that Nazr will remain the starter - at least for a while - and his plan is to use Chandler at the 4 alongside Nazr to take advantage of Tyson's defensive abilities while still getting Nazr's quality point scoring and rebounding abilities.

Meanwhile, Raymond Felton mildly turned his ankle at practice yesterday and was treated. He's listed as a gameday decision for tomorrow.

Brown also said that several team members were feeling sick prior to the Hornets game but were doing better. He referred to the loss as a "blip" that he did not believe would happen again.

Thought y'all would want to know that LB is doing the exact stuff we've been talking about regarding Chandler's return. Chandler was quoted as saying he's eager to play but doesn't expect to start or even play many minutes until he finds his way back into the team flow. Nazr also commented, saying he expects to return to the bench fairly soon. He said a player shouldn't lose a starter position simply because of an injury. "I know I would not want that to happen to me," he said.

makes good senese to me

Nazr has earned and proven his worth in the starting lineup. No sense in replacing him for Chandler who hasn’t played in a couple of months.

Make Chandler earn his spot.

Nazr is becoming one of my favorite Bobcats

Everything basketball related Nazr does and says off the court impresses me. This year his on production on the court are the fruits of his off court.

I hope to see him fully utilized after Chandler’s return. Even with Chandler playing, there should be at least 20 minutes for Nazr every night in the Bobcats rotation.

I’m always willing to admit when I’m wrong. I never thought Nazr had enough in the tank to return to being a starter.

I’m glad I was wrong

I agree about the NO game being a blip. They just didnt look into it. I didnt know they were sick though. The washington game shouldnt have been so close but they pulled it out which is great going into the allstar break. .
