It's been a great run, kid. Your contributions to this team will forever be etched into my memory, much like the indentations of your jump shots are etched into backboards across the nation. I salute you, Dominic. This is your tribute.
Season (Career?) Highlights:
13 points, 15 rebounds against the Milwaukee Bucks on 11/27/10, bringing your double-double totals for the season to one.
8 points on 3-12 shooting, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, 1 turnover in 40 masterful minutes against the Atlanta Hawks on 12/17/10.
Five games this season scoring 0 or fewer points.
2 DNP-CDs for Derrick Brown.
11 Triple-Singles on the season.
Terrific smile, and apparently a blossoming second career as an A-list Hollywood actor.
2 out of 16 games with a field goal percentage above .500.
4 starts, resulting in 4 losses.
Having "a little of Gerald" in you (per Larry Brown, who incidentally is also very proud of Dominic).
Trying really hard (more than anyone else on the roster on some nights).
I could go on and on, but I'm sure anyone who frequents RoF on a regular basis is already aware of the sheer awesomeness that is Dominic McGuire.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish Dominic all the best in his future bench warming endeavors. Thanks for everything, D-Mac! Good luck in your new role with the team.
