Garnett's a Jerk. What Else is New?

I generally believe that any excuse to hate Kevin Garnett is a good excuse, but I have to say that this guy is dead on. Here's a good read for a good afternoon.

I can see Stern now.

Sitting in his office and burning the midnight oil. He’s hunched over a legal pad. A trashcan nearby is full to overflowing with balled up sheets of yellow paper.

As the sweat pours down his brow, he leans back and stares in satisfaction at the pad.

Written at the top is “Respect for the Athlete”

Beneath it is a list of terms that will result in an immediate technical foul and $4000 fine.
The list runs the gamut from “doo-doo head” to “Yo’ mama” jokes.

Good article

It really does a good job of how a lot of of sports “sayings” are simply exaggerations, and if taken out of context, then everyone will be offended by something.
