Charlotte Bobcats vs. Utah Jazz preview -- Game 10
The Big Picture: Holy crap, the Utah Jazz are on a roll. They squeaked out a come from behind double overtime win against the Clippers at home a week ago. Then, they came from behind to beat the Heat and Magic on back to back nights. And then they came from behind to beat the Hawks, in Atlanta, last night.
At three of the five starting positions, the Jazz are clearly superior to the Bobcats, and at the other two spots, on the wings, Utah rolls out a defensive specialist capable of frustrating Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace into poor offensive games. There's no question they're a better team than the Cats, well-coached and with more talent.
That said, the Cats can beat anyone in the league when they're clicking, and they could be catching the Jazz at just the right time, the end of a southeastern road swing.
Musical Interlude: Reel Big Fish -- "Sell Out"
Key to Victory: I suspect D.J. Augustin will be guarding Deron Williams, but the Cats should strongly consider switching him over to Raja Bell and letting Jax take his chances with Williams. As we well know, Bell is extremely limited on offense and probably wants to stay outside the three point line for most of the game. I'd rather have D.J. guarding someone with that M.O. than Williams, who will abuse him in the paint, if given the chance.
Detail That May Interest .08% of You: I'll be making my first appearance at The Cable Box this season.

Can we PLEASE have a game where everybody shows up?
I know a guy or 2 will be off night to night… but everyone on this team seems to have this Jeckly and Hyde thing going. Do we have an above average bench, or a non-existent bench? Does Wallace have a jump shot or not? Can Muhammad play offense or not? Can Jack dominate for more than 1 quarter, without being pathetic the other 3? Is Diaw a great passing big man or a turnover machine?
I’m still waiting for at least one game where the majority of these pieces fall into place.

Henderson will be inactive for us due to injury, Tyrus not playing due t death in the family
according to the Charlotte Obsever.
They think Najera will be active as Kwame still not ready.
This looks to be one of "those" nights.
The Bobcats have raised stealing wins against better teams to an art form. We’ve already lost a couple to teams we should have trounced (another much-less-appealing artform) and we’re do for one of those wins that restores optimism and enthusiasm. It’s also the toughest game in what could be a healthy winning streak if we can clear the hurdle it represents.
Thus far nothing has made any sense this season. All our expectations have been juggled almost beyond recognition. Our reliable defense has been shaky, we’ve yet to dominate anyone on our home court, and we’ve won three road games in a row. None of these things are normal to anyone that was a fan last season. It’s entirely possible that we will continue to play poorly at home tonight and get clobbered by 20 or more. It’s also very possible we’ll tear the Jazz apart tonight and they’ll fly out of town still not sure what the hell happened to them.
It’s one of those games that makes being a fan of the Bobcats so intense and entertaining. Win or lose, I wouldn’t miss it for the world.
