I'm sure everyone has heard about the new page on Bobcats.com where Michael Jordan asks the fans to e-mail and tweet the organization questions, comments, and suggestions regarding the team. I think it's great that the organization wants input from their customers, and gives them an opportunity to affect different aspects of the team. Hopefully they really do read through all the ideas.
I sent in my first suggestion earlier today. I asked the team to consider going to a darker shade of blue, similar to what they used when they first came into the league.
I feel like the shade we use now is a bit too light. I don't think it contrasts well enough with the orange we use. Also, when the team wears it's blue road jersey the color seems a bit faded and, again, because it lacks contrast the little amount of orange that is on the jersey isn't very distinguishable.
I also sent in some pictures to exemplify my point.
These are just some rough examples I put together to give them a basic idea they could work with. You'll notice that although it's a darker blue, it's still a unique shade not used by any other NBA team.
So, that's my little idea. What questions and suggestions have you guys sent in?
