Adam Morrison waived by Wizards
How the mighty have fallen.
I didn't even know the Wizards picked him up to begin with! I don't know what did him in worse - the injury that ruined his sophomore year, or the fact that he spent that year "learning" on the sidelines from Sam Vincent. Poor bastard.
On the bright side, he'll always have his two championship rings to prove that he actually played in the NBA at one time.

well that's Sean May and Adam Morrison now
both signed on with teams to ‘start anew’ (May with the Nets) and (Morrison with the Wizards) and both have been waived.
Sad
I know both of those guys were very highly thought of coming into the draft. I didn’t like the May pick because of health issues ( i am a Tarheel), but after his NCAA performance i thought with pick 13 that he might end up as a very good back-up/sometime starter in the league for 8-10yrs. I was wrong. He is just a lazy bastard that survived on talent alone, without having to really, really work. Morrison was a potentially great player in my eyes. I saw him as, at the very least, an excellent 6th man with the potential to be 20pt a game scorer. I wasn’t even close with that. The odds are in our favor that such missteps are a thing of the past, but with what i have seen out our latest lottery pick (Henderson) maybe it’s just wishful thinking…
And don't forget we passed up on Brook Lopez and Mario Chalmers
for DJ Augustin and Ajinca. So yes, we’ve basically F’ed up every draft. It was a gift from God we didn’t have a pick this year.

I remember when my UCLA Bruins made him cry
Then he won more rings than Malone, Iverson, Kidd, Nash, & Reggie Miller combined.

That's a hell of a list.
I’ll go ahead in throw in Barkley, Stockton (how could you mention Malone without him?), and Ewing. I have to wonder if any of those guys would trade their illustrious careers for a chance to have a couple of championship rings fall in your lap while they observed the Finals from the bench?
Meet the new quarterback. Same as the old quarterback. Go get 'em, Matty Twice!
Every time I start to think of John Stockton's staggering career assist numbers,
images of Mark Madsen breaking it down pervade my thoughts
