Magic agree in principle to a 4-year deal with Brandon Bass
So it looks like another FA target is out the window. Contract numbers aren't out yet, but it's not tough to guess the Bobbies were outbid for this quality young player. Sadly enough, it looks like we'll probably be turning to Juwan Howard, Sean May, or another player of their caliber (or lack of caliber, really) to fill our gaping frontcourt backup needs.

4 years, $18 mil. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. I’d certainly rather have him than Mohammed or Diop.

Tough to compete for FA's with Orlando and San Antonio
Hopefully Gooden or Wilcox will slip through the cracks to us. I’m not as high on Davis unless he comes cheap or short term, which I highly doubt.
