Free Agents

David:

Are there any free agents you see the Bobcats taking a shot at? Also my dream is that we somehow land Carlos Boozer. Is there any scenario in which that could happen?

I mean we could have two great low post threats. One better offensively, one better defensively and both tearing up the rebounds. The only other moves I keep hearing is the "threat" of Allen Iverson joining this team. I'm just wondering what you or anyone else has heard.

I don’t think there are any big time free agents that make sense for us, since the two is the only place we can realistically make a worthwhile improvement, and we’re likely going to address that in the draft. The roster is pretty much locked down.

Iverson makes a little bit of sense, if you believe he would take to playing 27 minutes off the bench in the Jason Terry role. Or what Augustin often did this year. I wouldn’t be completely opposed to it if he’s cheap, but I’m not a fan of his style and his drop off this year was pretty alarming.
