Morrison and Shannon Brown Traded for Vladimir Radmanovic

BIG NEWS: Morrison traded. More reaction this evening.

In short, it makes the team better both this year and next, because Vlad Rad is the rich man's version of Morrison at his best. He'll start for now and come off the bench when Gerald gets back. It's a little less cap space in the summer of 2010, but hey, they don't give a damn about rebuilding; they want to make the playoffs at all costs this year or next.

Now my Morrison jersey has no value. Hopefully, he gets a chance to play in LA. I think Vlad should help the Bobcats, I mean at least he can shoot.

Man im going to miss Morrison

for what reason i dont know. Hopefully he’ll do well in LA, he needs a fresh start. Vlad should be a slight upgrade, although I know he’s not known for his D. But next year is his last year of his contract, so we may have a bit of cap space for 2010-2011, so who knows what can happen

Vlad

Hey guys, I’m a Lakers fan whose been watching Vlad for the past couple years. Good news for you guys is that Vlad can absolutely kill it from outside when he’s hot and his defense has really gotten better this year. I don’t think many people give him too much credit for it but it’s obvious that he worked hard on it over the summer because it was his only chance of staying in our rotation. Now for the the negatives – Vlad tends to space out at times and is very inconsistent. I’m not sure how he’s gonna get along with Larry Brown; I wouldn’t be too surprised if Vlad finds himself in Brown’s doghouse next year.
