Around SBN: Off Tackle Empire interviews Rich Rodriguez

That's precisely what Celtics coach Doc Rivers saw, scouting the Bobcats before and after this trade. Before Jackson, Rivers said, the Bobcats were the only team in the league you could afford to defend in a straight zone, every player with one foot in the paint.

Now, Rivers said, Jackson demands "one and probably two more (sets of) eyes. And that makes you a better basketball team just by his presence."

--Charlotte Observer

So for all the whining about Jackson's inefficiency and turnovers, there's no less an expert than an NBA Coach of the Year and NBA Champion talking about it.
