HoopData Improves the NBA Box Score
Via BlazersEdge, the best way to explain it is that these box scores have everything you'd look for in a box score, and they've also added every advanced stat you could want. Combined with Basketball-Reference, we're in basketball stat heaven.

They do have interesting stats
Something I noticed from last nights game, 19 field goals made at rim, 9 three pointers made, only 6 in between. Also, only 6 fg attempts in between the rim and 15 feet. This tells me we are relying on long jump shots too much and we dont have much midrange game. 32 shots were taken outside 15 feet. 13 were converted but I doubt we convert that many on a consistent basis. We shouldnt be taking the same amount of shots outside 15 feet as we take at the rim.
Also, the Points Contributed divided by Posessions Used stat is cool. This should give you Felton, augustin debaters more material to use.
Take a look at Felton's breakdown in those categories, too.
The thing is, those kind of shots tend to be defended, unlike his threes. And you’ve got to develop that part of your game to overcome it.
Overheard in press box, from local reporter: 'If this Moore kid was any good, they'd be up 31-0 right now.'
