Gameday Open Thread at Philadelphia 76ers

Charlotte Bobcats at Philadelphia 76ers, Nov 18, 2009 7:00 PM EST

Game 2 of the Stephen Jackson Era comes to you live from Philadelphia!

True story: Last season, I drove to Philly and DC to see two Bobcats road games in one weekend. Do you remember who started at point guard for the Cats against the Sixers? That's right: Sean Singletary.

Larry Brown gave him a "hometown" start. It was the only game Raymond Felton did not start last year. Good thing nothing like that could happen this season... Oh crap! Stephen Graham was born in Wilmington!

Wow

I can hear every sound on the court. I thought Time Warner was quiet during games.

I was thinking the same...

but hes from Philly so maybe he is giving him some PT in front of his family…

G is certainly better than Singletary.

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

Oh yeah for sure...

I wish he got more PT…I think he will surprise LB

This is bad

There have been way too many shot clock violations and almost shot clock violations. It’s called moving without the ball, damn it.

Ok, seriously...

I cannot stand any of these stupid flu commercials. They may be the worst commercials ever created…seriously, I’m not even exaggerating, I hate them. Especially the one where there’s a germ and he says something like “I’m a total babe magnet” or something dumb like that. Every time one of them comes on, I get the urge to throw my remote through the television.

I blame Bev Perdue for that stupid commercial

It is so bad that it actually depresses me to see it.

Frankly, I think the SpongeTech commercials are worse...

Certainly creepier.

Oh god, those too

“I don’t have to be told to take a bath now!”

by Stevarino on Nov 18, 2009 8:15 PM EST up reply actions

I'd rather watch both those commercials...

…than see a sorry-ass ending to a game like the one we saw tonight!

Cant even get a shot off. Pathetic.

Minimize Ray Ray Play in the 4th please

I love the guy, don’t get me wrong… but his attempts at late game heroics can prove costly, IMHO anyways.

Derrick Brown

Is getting plenty of burn tonight but what does that say about Larry Brown’s confidence in Ajinca? Chandler and Diaw are dealing with back spasms and Brown would rather have a rookie in the game instead of the Frenchman. Ouch.

by Stevarino on Nov 18, 2009 9:11 PM EST reply actions

I'd rather see Derrick Brown then Diop

Prolly Ajinca and Diop are inactive along with acie law

Gerald Wallace is the best player the Bobcats will have..... EVER

This game hurt

What’s the point of bringing in Jackson and getting his 26 points if Gerald and Boris play like shit?

2 scorers in double digits….. TWO

Unnaceptable.

And the Wizards are beating the Cavs

So, the ’Cats will fall to dead last in the Southeast

by Stevarino on Nov 18, 2009 9:39 PM EST reply actions

Boris never should have taken that three in the coner.

Too much time was left on the clock and shot clock… it was just a stupid move.

Agreed

Down by one, I think the last option was a three…at least drive to the basket and maybe look for some contact to get to the line.
