Allen Iverson Waived by the Grizz

Allen Iverson has been waived by the Grizzlies according to an article on the sbnation homepage.  Here to be exact: http://www.sbnation.com/2009/10/8/1076194/allen-iverson-injury-hamstring-three-weeks#sources-grizzlies-iverson-to

I don't really know what the Bobcats would have to do to sign him but we thought that he might want to finish his career with LB and now he has that chance.  Sure it may take playing time away from the younger players but, hey LB wouldn't give them much time anyways.  So what do you think?

You are kidding, right?

You wouldn’t really want to sign a player with severely diminished skills that quickly quit on the last two teams he played for.

No way Jose

If he’s not starting, he’s not happy.

We just traded for Jackson today… so who’s starting at the 2?

Iverson has had one decent game… 18 pts against Golden State. The same Golden State that allowed Brandon Jennings to drop 55 on them.

When will people realize it’s 2009, not 2001 and Iverson is done.

And on top of that

We just brought in an alpha-dog this afternoon. Bring in Iverson a day or two later and the team won’t even make it out of the locker room. We won’t even find out what happened in there until the CSI teams have sorted out the dna and outlined the bodies.

I’m not firmly in the AI is washed up camp. I think he still has a couple of mighty good years left in him if he finds the right home. And just in case he or one of the Cats’ decision makers should see this thread…

Iverson’s best home is at ABC – ANYWHERE BUT CHARLOTTE!

ABC...LOL thats funny

I don’t think its gonna happen if we were gonna sign him it would’ve happened first time around…but I hope we don’t sign him that’s just bad news waiting to happen

You're on the mark about him not fitting here...

But he might not have a couple mighty good nights left, much less years.

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

what if jackson is gone?

Gerald Wallace is the best player the Bobcats will have..... EVER

He's still a whiny player who can't do what he used to do, but won't acknowledge it.
