Open Gameday Thread vs Portland Trail Blazers

Portland Trail Blazers at Charlotte Bobcats, Nov 14, 2009 7:00 PM EST

TV: Fox Sports Carolinas, NBA TV | Radio: 610 AM or 1660 AM
SB Nation Trail Blazers Blog: Blazersedge

They build another Death Star, right? Now, the first one was completed and fully operational before the rebels destroyed it. The second one was still being built when they blew it up. Something just never sat right with me that second time around. I could never put my finger on it, but something just wasn't right.

(Programming Note: The game recap and reflection will be delayed a bit due to Pacquiao-Cotto.)

NBA TV

The game is on NBA TV. I really hope Charlotte has a good showing since they are playing in front of a national audience.

I never noticed...

The Bobcats have four lottery picks from the 2001 NBA draft: Diop, Chandler, Rad, & Wallace. I guess the draft really is hit or miss.

David, I guess that means you're going to watch Pacqioau-Cotto?

Do you have any opinion on the fight or idea of who you think will win?

I’m 50% pinoy, so I’m kind of obligated to root for PacMan:) But really, I’m far more concerned for him than I was before the Hatton fight. I 100% knew he’d beat Hatton, but was shocked at how much of a beatdown it was. Cotto’s a different proposition. Dude’s a bad bad man. Still, I’m guessing Pacquiao wins by KO in rounds 8-10.

Is anybody watching the game?

2:00 minutes to go in the 2nd qtr.

The Bobcat’s line-up is ridiculous.

PG Felton
SG DJ
SF Flip
PF G Wallace
C Diaw

wtf?

It’s total lack of confidence in Diop and RadMan that leads to that lineup.

I was thinking

it was LB oovercoaching and trying to match up with the Blazer back court. & Also maybe he was hoping for some offensive production out of DJ. (don’t hold your breath, LB)

Radmanovic was one of three Bobcats with a positive +/-, logging 6 pts 4 rebs 1 assist in less than 10 minutes. He also hit a big three down the stretch that kept the Cats in it… temporarily.

+/- if pretty irrelevant for bench players.

Many of those pluses can come when the starters on the other teams are getting rest, or after the game’s decided.

Remember when the Panthers had a good offensive line? Yeah, me too.

It is becoming pretty clear that you do not actually watch the games, Procto.

Please refrain from talking out of your ass, when addressing me.

You're right...

I should just use profanity and personal attacks as you so effectively do.

niether one of your scenarios were really the case.

When Vlade was in the other night, he played pretty well, and the stats form the game show it.

Hard to make good choices with such bad personnel.
