NBA Fans Predict Playoff Teams

A month and a half ago, I invited fans to predict which teams would make the 2009-10 NBA playoffs in a pair of poll applets on Rufus on Fire. Here are the results of those predictions, presented in order of most votes to fewest.

A couple comments after the jump:

-- Maybe Nuggets fans swarmed the polls. They got the most votes out of any team in the West, which is kind of amazing. Note that this doesn't mean everyone thought they'd be the best team, just that -- by a small margin -- more people thought they'd make the playoffs than thought the Lakers would.

-- The Mavericks? The Suns? Maybe I'm way off base, but I would have put the Rockets in ahead of the Suns, easily, and (deep breath) I've been torn over whether or not the Clippers are going to be better than the Mavs this year. Either way, I think those are the two teams fighting for the eighth spot at the end of the season.
