Losing Sucks (Number 3)

The first road win of the season will have to wait for a while. Tonight, the Bobcats showed they're still not a good enough defensive team to truly compete in the league. Defense requires each of the five links to be fully committed and focused on executing the plan to perfection. Every time.

I forgive Nate Robinson's big night, even though I know it could have been prevented with more disciplined team defense, because Lil' Nate just plain out-athleted everyone who tried to guard him. However, the Knicks got way too many open shots. As close as the game was, it shouldn't have come down to the final possession. If the Knicks just made a few more twos instead of jacking a few of those threes, they'd have put the game away.

More tomorrow.
